I believe that real love endures.

It also makes us feel very deeply, especially when we want someone to be physically present, but for whatever reason, they’re not.

I thought I was writing a kids book to help with separation anxiety because the earlier we learn to breathe through the pain, the better we’re prepared for when it inevitably arrives. That’s just life. However, I couldn’t kick the feeling that adults need this same reminder.

Missing your mama for example, doesn’t have an age. Sometimes you’re five. Sometimes you’re fifty. Sometimes you just need something gentle to remind you that love can always reach you.

I wrote this book to share what works for me when navigating my own “big” feelings, especially when I’m missing my mama.

I hope it helps people connect more deeply with the power of the love that lives within all of us.
